An ecosystem of smart products
Puffco is a cannabis tech startup specializing in the creation of premium consumption experiences for the modern-day cannabis consumer. With a growing demand for new products and technology in a booming industry, cannabis product lifecycles struggle as consumers migrate to the next latest technology. As a result, companies have a hard time keeping up, products end up in the trash due to obsolescence, and consumers have a hard time finding value. Puffco aims to resolve that issue by providing a platform for Puffco and its users to continually optimize their products to fit market demands and user needs.
The Process

Developing a strong strategy was key in the development of this app, as it required the alignment of multiple disciplines to release an app in harmony with its hardware counterpart. As the product evolved and features were solidified, we were able to build a matrix to help determine the app feature set and architecture.

The Peak Pro comes in two main colors and multiple seasonal colors. When the user pairs their Peak Pro with the app, the color scheme of the app updates to match their device for a harmonious user experience.

Control, like never before
Users have the ability to control their connected devices through the app to unlock a new level of control. With customizable heat profiles, users can edit and collect unique heat profiles that suit their needs.
Custom Mood Lights
Curate an experience
Create and share custom mood lights that use the internal LEDs on the device to enhance the mood of the environment. User can select from a variety of pre-made exclusive moods or create their own by controlling the tempo, animation, and colors of the light.
Advanced Metrics
Gain insights about behavior and device usage
Advanced Metrics tracks and logs device usage and presents it to them in a way they can understand. Breaking down their use of temperature, time, duration and mood lights. These statistics are often shared among the community as a form of self-expression and brand loyalty.
